A squad of armored personnel from the First Army Corps of the Russian Armed Forces (RFAF) destroyed several units of Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) armored vehicles using the Kornet anti-tank missile system near the settlement of Vodyanoye in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was reported by RIA Novosti.
An officer with the call sign "Simon" told the agency that Russian calculations were working from the outskirts of Peski on equipment that was moving toward Vodyanoye, which is largely controlled by Russian Armed Forces forces. "The armored gunners also dealt fire to the Kiev militants landing there," he added.
